About Racing for the Cross Ministries

Racing for the Cross Ministries is non-denominational ministry that was started in 2006 as a result of noticing the need for a chaplain at Laurens County Speedway. It was through its partnership with LCS in providing a chaplain that RFTCM understood the value of its presence at the race track. RFTCM has continued serving at LCS and is seeking to expand to other tracks that are looking for chaplains and volunteers. RFTCM does and will not promote any denomination or unsound doctrines and will by no means allow any of its volunteers to minister to drivers, track workers, or fans without their permission first. All of RFTCM volunteers are trained professionals that have completed training or are working under those who have proper certification or experience.

Purpose Statement of Racing for the Cross Ministries

We as Racing for the Cross Ministries operate for the very sole purpose of carrying the gospel of Jesus Christ to the local race track while striving to see God glorified through every act of ministry we offer. Our goal is to see people personally accept Jesus as Lord and Savior with the plans of offering them discipleship training. Overall our goal is to provide the most effective ministry to the race track as possible using biblical based methods.

Our Beliefs

We believe in the Holy Bible, that it is the full inspired and written word of God. We believe in the Trinity; as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We believe in the , burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe in a literal heaven and hell. We also believe that every person born is a sinner in need of a Savior. We believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven.
